This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect when you use NickLepore.com or Gallery.NickLepore.com (the "Site"), how I use it, and your rights. The Site is operated by Nick Lepore, a sole proprietor based in Minnesota.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Site.

1. Information I Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name, email address, and message content when you use the contact form

  • Shipping address, billing information, and order details when you purchase prints

  • Any information you include in correspondence with me

Information collected automatically:

  • Basic technical data (browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, referring site)

  • Cookies and similar technologies used by the Site or its hosting platform for functionality and analytics

Payment information:

  • Payment card details are entered directly into Stripe or Square checkout pages. I do not see, store, or have access to your full card number. I receive only the transaction confirmation and the information needed to fulfill your order.

Photographs:

  • The Site hosts photographs taken by me. Some photographs include identifiable individuals. See Section 5 below for how images of people are handled.

2. How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect to:

  • Respond to contact form submissions and inquiries

  • Process and fulfill print orders, including shipping and customer service

  • Provide access to private galleries

  • Improve the Site and understand how it is used

  • Comply with legal obligations (tax reporting, recordkeeping)

I do not sell your personal information. I do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the Site and fulfill orders (for example, with payment processors, shipping carriers, and print fulfillment providers).

3. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on the following categories of third-party services, each of which has its own privacy practices:

  • Payment processing: Stripe and/or Square

  • Hosting and infrastructure: [hosting provider]

I encourage you to review the privacy policies of these services. I am not responsible for their practices.

4. Cookies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (such as keeping you logged into a private gallery) and for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some Site features.

5. Photographs of Individuals

Some galleries contain photographs of identifiable individuals, including event attendees and tournament participants. Where required, I obtain model releases. For public events (such as MSTKD Taekwondo tournaments) photography is conducted with the authorization of the event organizer.

If you appear in a photograph and would like it removed, contact me using the contact form. I will honor reasonable removal requests promptly, particularly for photographs of minors.

For private galleries delivered to event participants, families, or clients, access may be password-protected.

6. Children

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site's forms or store. Photographs of children may appear in galleries with the authorization of the event organizer or the child's parent or guardian. If you are a parent or guardian and would like a photograph of your child removed, contact me immediately.

7. Data Retention

I retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law (for example, order records for tax purposes). Contact form messages are typically retained for [X months/years]. Order records are retained as required by Minnesota and federal law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:

  • Request a copy of the information I have about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information (subject to legal retention requirements)

  • Opt out of marketing communications (I do not currently send marketing emails)

9. Security

I take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including using reputable third-party services for payments and hosting. No system is perfectly secure, however, and I cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

10. International Users

The Site is operated from the United States. If you are accessing it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer.

11. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
